Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of Sentinel services. Please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, contact us before using the service.

Acceptance

  • By accessing or using Sentinel services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
  • If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the service.

The service

  • Sentinel provides AI asset discovery, MCP security monitoring, endpoint agent management, and related security tooling for enterprise environments.
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the service from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of changes that materially affect your use of the platform.
  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and infrastructure events may cause temporary unavailability.

Your account and access

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and administrative access. Do not share credentials between users. Use the platform's role-based access controls to manage team access.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

  • You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with your organisation's internal policies and applicable regulations.
  • You must not use the service to monitor individuals without appropriate legal basis and authorisation within your jurisdiction.
  • You must not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data belonging to Sentinel or other customers.
  • You must maintain appropriate internal approvals and legal basis for any monitoring capabilities you deploy using the platform.

Your data

  • You retain ownership of all data you bring into or generate through the platform, including scan results, asset records, and policy configurations.
  • You grant Sentinel a limited right to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
  • We do not use your environment data to train models, benchmark competitors, or for any purpose outside delivering your service.

Confidentiality

  • Each party agrees to keep the other party's confidential information — including technical specifications, business terms, and customer data — strictly confidential.
  • Confidential information may only be used for purposes directly related to the service relationship.
  • These obligations do not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or disclosed with written consent.

Intellectual property

  • Sentinel retains all rights to the platform, software, tooling, and documentation we develop.
  • You retain all rights to your data and any configurations, policies, or content you create within the platform.
  • Feedback or suggestions you provide may be incorporated into the product without obligation to compensate.

Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sentinel is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. The above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in your jurisdiction.

Termination

  • Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice, subject to any minimum term agreed at time of purchase.
  • Upon termination, your access to the platform will be deactivated. We will retain your data for a defined period following termination before deletion.
  • You may request a data export prior to account closure.

Changes to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-product notice.
  • Continued use of the service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the service and contact us to arrange account closure.
